Utah State football game at BYU moved to Thursday night

LOGAN, Utah- Utah State’s football game at BYU this fall has been brought forward one day and will now be played on Thursday, Sept. 29, it was announced Tuesday.

Launch and broadcast information will be announced later.

Utah State is 37-50-3 against BYU, which includes an 18-30-1 road record. In fact, USU has won two of its last three road games in the series and three of the last six games against the Cougars overall.

Utah State is coming off its best season in program history as it tied the school record with 11 wins (11-3, 6-2 MW), captured its first-ever championship Mountain West with a 46-13 road win at No. 19 San Diego State earned a 24-13 win over Oregon State at the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl and finished the season ranked 24th of the country in both polls.
