Pennsylvania Global Entrepreneurship Week Comes | Business
Pennsylvania will participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week, an annual event that takes place this week.
Part of a global initiative organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network, GEW spans 170 countries and reaches approximately nine million participants through more than 35,000 group activities, ranging from occasional small gatherings to large-scale events and competitions.
“Pennsylvania has been actively involved in Global Entrepreneurship Week since the inaugural event in 2008,” said Elizabeth Fegert, program manager for GEW Penn State and GEW coordinator for Pennsylvania. “Since then, Pennsylvania has been a leader in GEW USA programming. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a variety of organizations coming together to provide meaningful programming for entrepreneurs in Pennsylvania. “
With the support of community organizers from Clarion, Hazleton, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scranton and University Park, GEW Pennsylvania will offer nearly 100 programs for entrepreneurs, startups, founders and small business owners throughout the week.
With topics ranging from finance, import and export, marketing, career success and international trade to programs tailored to specific entrepreneurial populations, GEW Pennsylvania will offer meaningful events for entrepreneurs of all backgrounds. steps.
The four global themes of GEW 2021 are ecosystems, education, inclusion and policy. Virtual event presentations at Hazleton include:
