January transfer window highlights
The January transfer window is not normally when big clubs, such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City do most of their business, but there are times when reinforcements are needed. .
And ahead of the deadline, we have the prospect of PSG signing Ousmane Dembelé from Barcelona with Liverpool having already snapped up Luis Díaz from Porto for an initial fee of £33.3million.
Unsurprisingly, Tottenham are still very active, leaving their business for last, chasing Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur. Newcastle have been the biggest spender of the window and will take their spending beyond £80m if they can complete the Dan Burn deal.
An unexpected move – well, at least before the window started – was Christian Eriksen moving to Brentford on deadline day.
