Liverpool fans look to Jurgen Klopp for ‘disrespectful’ XI as Leicester scores twice as early

Liverpool fans have turned on Jurgen Klopp after naming a ‘disrespectful’ side against Leicester in the Carabao Cup.

The Reds boss has made 10 changes to the squad that faced Tottenham in the Premier League this weekend, with only 19-year-old Tyler Morton surviving.

And as his counterpart Brendan Rodgers presented his strongest team possible, Klopp was quickly punished for his caps.

The Foxes took an early 2-0 lead with Liverpool’s backline unable to cope with the offensive threat.

It was too much for the watching fans, who vented their frustration at Klopp’s repeated approach during cup competitions.

“Literally the biggest frustration I have with Klopp is his utter disrespect for national cup competitions every year,” added a Reds fan.

Another commented: “Klopp is the one to blame. It’s amazing how other PL teams with worse team depth than ours also have better teams than us. It’s shameful.”

With three more games to come in under two weeks over the holiday season, Liverpool have a crowded game list.

Among those due to start were Morton Academy teammates Conor Bradley, 18, and Billy Koumetio, 19.
