Gymnastics of the United States | Acro World Team testing is scheduled for December 19-20 in Indianapolis


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., December 17, 2021 – The US Acrobatic Gymnastics World Team Trials will be held December 19-20 in Indianapolis. The performances will help determine which athletes will represent the U.S. team at the 2022 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships and World Age Group competitions scheduled for March 3-13 at the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Pairs and groups from the Junior Elite 12-18, Junior Elite 13-19 and Senior divisions will compete in four sessions with the action broadcast live to US viewers on the USA Gymnastics YouTube channel during the following times.

Sunday 19 December

  • 10 a.m. ET – Session A: elite junior duo 12-18 years old, mixed duo and female duo balance, and female group dynamics; balance of the mixed elite junior couple 13-19 years old and the female couple, and the dynamics of the female group; senior male duo, female duo and male group balance, and female group dynamics
  • 12:30 p.m. ET – Session B: elite junior duo 12-18 years old, mixed duo and dynamic women’s duo, and women’s group balance

Monday, December 20

  • 10h. AND – Session C: elite junior mixed duo 13-19 years old and dynamic female duo and female group balance; senior male duo, female duo and dynamic male group and female group balance
  • 12 p.m. ET – Session D: junior elite 12-18 pairs and groups combined; junior elite 13-19 pairs and groups combined; senior couples and combined groups

The selections for the 2022 US World Championships and World Age Group Teams will be announced on December 21.
