Graham Potter gives cryptic answer on Yves Bissouma’s injury ahead of Norwich and Man City
Brighton boss Graham Potter didn’t reveal too much when asked about Yves Bissouma’s knee injury.
The 25-year-old midfielder has missed Albion’s last three games in all competitions since extending his knee in the win over Leicester City last month.
The Mali international trained ahead of the Crystal Palace game on September 27, but didn’t risk that game or the Seagulls’ goalless draw against Arsenal on Saturday.
The Brighton star player missed a lot against the Eagles, but Pascal Gross, Adam Lallana and Jakub Moder did a good job neutralizing the deadlocked Arsenal midfielder at the Amex.
The Sussex outfit will face Norwich City on October 16 and a week later Manchester City host in the Premier League after the international break.
When asked for a fitness update on Bissouma, head coach Potter replied: “We have missing players, Yves [Bissouma] is one of them.
“The team must find a collective solution, we have no replacement in terms of replacements at constant scope.”
Bisouma also missed Albion’s Carabao Cup victory over Swansea City following Leicester’s victory.
